Few tips to be efficient during a Contest and be able to get a good score.

- FULL CALLSIGN. Never answer a call with your last to letter of the callsign. You will waste time repeting twice.

- STOP CALLING CALLING AND CALLING. Once is enough!! There is more people in the test so...others might be stronger than you. Be patient!

- NO DUPES. Dupes are a pain in our asses. Specially if you start discussing if you are in the log or not. Get another contact and go ahead!

- FAST CONTACTS. A contester is not interested in your state, your name, your antenna or even the weather... A contester ONLY needs your contact, be in the log and get the exchange (serial numbers, zone,...). Everything else is EXTRA. Dont waste time!

During a contest is not the time to be friendly. Just "thanks" is enough. Avoid "have a nice day", exchange real reports,...

- CLUSTER. Never trust 100 % the cluster. Sometimes the info, the callsign, is wrong so...if you use a logging program, you just click and move wherever in the band.

Make sure the callsign is the correct one. Just a letter or a number make a huge different...It worth to listen first.

- LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN. Do not ask for the callsign. The contester might be giving it oftently. Wait for it!!!

- CONTESTER CHOOSE. If contester is running a pile-up and choose one callsign. They will only listen that one. Do not try to replace the one...you would waste your time, and everybody time.

- DUPES. If you make several times a contact, do not mess around!!! (Are you sure am I in the log? What time? when? What time?...). Make the contact and go! Dont waste time.
